Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Theideal candidate will have proven experience designing, building, andimplementing distributed, cloud-scale systems. You should valuesimplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment,and be excited to learn.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science orequivalent industry experience
6 years experience building and operatinglarge scale, highly available, cloud based distributed systems
Expert skill in a modern programminglanguage such as Java, C, C , C#, Go, or Python, with additional proficiencyin additional languages preferred
Strong knowledge of operating systemfundamentals
Strong understanding of data models anddistributed persistence technologies
Thorough understanding of latest securityprinciples, techniques, and protocols
Strong troubleshooting and performancetuning skills
Proficiency in network, distributed,asynchronous, and concurrent programming
Knowledge of professional softwareengineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
Experience building and operating scalableinfrastructure software or distributed systems
Experience using Amazon Web Services suchas EC2, EBS, Lambda, Dynamo and S3 or equivalents
Demonstrated ability to achieve stretchgoals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communicationskills
Strong analytical skills, with excellentproblem solving abilities
Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scalesoftware development
Experience with big data solutions
Direct experience with fleet orchestrationfor both virtual and containerized workloads
Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals
Working familiarity with networkingprotocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
Working familiarity with storageprinciples, protocols and practices
Working familiarity with building securesoftware using modern security principles
Technical leadership experience
